Greetings, traveler. Make yourself at home. This is where I play my little games. A bit of hide-n-seek, a bit of show-n-tell, sometimes a taste of pin the tail on the monkey.
I write and play music. I ponder the mysteries, and sometimes reach conclusions, themselves ofttimes mysterious. I'm extremely curious about the worlds we inhabit, but have as yet avoided a premature demise. I identify with, and advocate for, my non-human neighbors; my yard is a safe haven for all.
I've just recently moved back into myself. I was away for several decades working a day job, keeping my hair short, my spirit damped, and my expectations low. With the exceptional exception of my amazing wife's presence in my life, my existence was pretty miserable. Just a bit over two years ago, I kinda lost it, gave three weeks notice at my job, and retired. My anxiety had been through the roof for years, and I quite literally could not take it any longer. I'm extremely fortunate that my circumstances allowed me to be able to retire at 57 rather than toughing it out for another seven or eight years as I'd planned. But now I'm back, and discovering anew what's important to me and why. My energies are a bit spastic, far-flung, and oddly channeled at times, and I've got a couple of zillion interests, but I'm working hard toward making something fresh, useful, and fulfilling of my life.
This web site will serve to announce and document my many interests and projects, and hopefully will also itself help focus my work and be a tool for me in achieving my myriad goals, global mystification, amusement, and joy being not the least among them.
